Fearless Public Speaking
On Thursday, November 10, 2016, the IEEE Consultants’ Network of Northern NJ (www.TechnologyOnTap.org) will will host a talk on Public Speaking.
About the Topic
Have you ever gotten nervous getting on stage? Once you are there, do you run out of things to say or feel like you are going on too long? Maybe you’ve been concerned about losing your audience’s attention? Regardless of how strong a speaker you are or how much you would like to improve, there is always something to learn! Join us as we host professional speaker and Toastmasters’ competitor, Jason Sanders, as he guides us through some of the speaking techniques he uses regularly. At the end of this presentation, you will be able to:
- Walk on stage with fewer jitters
- Get your point across more effectively
- Capture your audience’s attention more easily
You’ll also have the opportunity to network and get to know other members during the presentation in a low pressure setting.
